AG-NGINE

The Agriculture National Graduate Institutional Name Exchange (AG-NGINE) is a program to facilitate the exchange of prospective graduate student information across institutions. Join us in our mission to enhance graduate student recruitment and placement in colleges of agriculture and related sciences across the United States.

Let's get you to the right place.

HISTORY

AG-NGINE is modeled after the highly successful Engineering National Graduate Institutional Name Exchange (ENGINE) founded by Mike Nazareth and hosted by UF’s Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering.

AG-NGINE is hosted by the University of Florida College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. A three-year pilot phase began in 2023 with ~30 institutions across the U.S. Funding for the initial pilot is from APLU’s Academic Programs Section and Experiment Station Section.

During the second year of the pilot phase, all 1862 and 1890 land-grant colleges of agriculture and related sciences along with other Academic Programs Section member institutions were invited to participate, totaling 81 invited institutions.
